Success!!

Holden is out of surgery. It was a success! Thank you for your prayers. We had loving and concerned people praying all over the place. What a blessing! He is doing well - resting in his hospital room. I fed him 15 cc's of pedialite and he gobbled it up. In 3 hours he can have 30 cc's. He is a hungry boy as he hasn't eaten in 2 days and has been losing several meals for 2 weeks. But the surgery went amazing! We are so thankful for God's hand over Holden's precious life. We are thankful for wonderfully skilled doctors and compassionate nurses that have been by our side for the past 2 days. We have so much to be thankful for!

So glad he is doing better. We will continue to pray for a quick recovery. Love y'all-The Myers

As for the house. I would LOVE to be closer to y'all, but Josh's drive to downtown Dallas might be a little too long. :) But yeah, if we move to Allen, then we would be a bit closer.

Hey. I haven't read your blog in a while. I am so glad your little man is ok. About 3 weeks after Wyatt was born they thought he had the same thing...they did an ultrasound and it turned out to be something else. These little people sure know how to scare their parents. Praise God he is on the road to recovery!!

We've been outta town so I just got caught up. Poor Holden!!! I'm so sorry you guys had to go thru this. I'm so happy that his surgery is over and he's on the road to a full recovery. I'll been praying for him to heal totally and completely and for his normal feeds to resume! Hang in there! Don't these kiddos increase our prayer life? : )
