Watch Out Martha Stewart!
Okay, not really. In fact, I am nowhere close to Martha. I like to be crafty and I had been thinking that I wanted to take a cake decorating class. So me and my friend Allison started last week. I had to make my first cake this weekend and then we did the decorating during class. Let me just say, this is absolutely the messiest hobby I have ever done! And thus far, I am not feeling too optimistic about it. I'm not so sure that cake decorating will be my forte. I hope to be able to make my kids birthday cakes. But I don't think it will go any further than that. So I will just stick with card making and scrapbooking. Paper crafts don't make quite the mess that icing and food coloring do. So here is my first masterpiece.

YAY! It looks great! I've had fun messing around with cake decorating too--thank goodness it always tastes good, even if it doesn't look good!
