October 31 observed especially with dressing up in disguise, trick-or-treating, and displaying jack-o'-lanterns during the evening.
See it says nothing of the devil! It's just plain fun for the kids!!
We had an exceptionally fun Halloween this year. We are now just a 30 minute drive from my sister. DFW time, 30 minutes is absolutely nothing. So Saturday evening we headed to their house for a little party. It was lots of fun. Their were parties all over their neighborhood. The next door neighbors had a bounce house and with the driveways right next to one another, the parties sort of combined at one point. So much to do and see. But Holden was completely obssessed with Cameron's tricycle.Completely obssessed! Not with riding it, but with pushing it all over the driveway. Man, we couldn't pull him off that thing.
And here we are in costume . . . but not really pausing much for me to get a picture.See the blurry hands? He is signing help for me to help him up. He decided the bounce house next door looked like fun. But he wanted me in with him. So what's a momma to do?This makes me a little sad, but Paxton never made it into his cute, little giraffe costume. He stayed cuddled in different arms that night. And nana made sure she got some cuddle time.
I don't think he feels like he missed out on anything. And here is a picture of the party hosts and my 2 nephews. Indiana Jones and a cute, little cowboy!
