Warning: It’s going to be a vain post. I am going off topic today. You know, my normal topics revolve around the family and of course HOLDEN. But today, I will talk about my hair. I get bored with the same old look and so I tend to make changes quite often. And so that is where I am today. For the past week, I have been laying in bed at night thinking about my hair. Pathetic right? I’ve been wondering if I should go brunette again. I have done this maybe 3 or 4 times in the past 5 years. I know, I should probably stop going back and forth and make a decision what color I want it to be. If I keep it up, it might fall out on me. Lord knows I don’t want that. Anyways, with fall around the corner and my dark roots staring back at me in the mirror, I have this great urge to try and go (AND STAY) brunette again. I am TIRED of keeping up with the highlights. And even if I have to occasionally put some color on this brown hair to liven up my natural mousey brown color, at least it wouldn’t be every 6-8 weeks. So tell me your opinion: blonde or brown. Don’t tell me what you think I want to hear, tell me YOUR opinion.
These are kind of old photos and my hair was long. I wish I had never cut it off!!! See, that was another moment of boredom. But they are the best close-ups I have as most of our recent pics are now of Holden. Which brings me to another thought . . . maybe I should try and grow it out again???? My sister Amy would say “No, we look frumpy with long hair!” And maybe she’s right. Let’s just figure out the color for now.
Brunette????
Or blonde?????
p.s. That's nephew Cameron in the picture.

Okay... so my opinion... I really like both colors, but I think I prefer brunette. And, for what it's worth... I loved the way it was cut when it was long! SO stylish and cute!
i know this isn't going to help much after reading Lis' answer, but I really like your blond hair alot. So cute! Just remember it's your hair and you're the one who has to live w/ it everyday :)
I like blonde, and actually i like it long....
I love the cut now, not too short, but not too long. And I like you both colors, but brown is so much easier. Not sure if it is that pic or what, but I think Keira could do a more beautiful brown. Make an appt around labor day here!
So...I have to admit life is easier without keeping up highlights. I got rid of mine not too long after Mr. Bonk was born.
I love you blonde! Well, I love you both ways, no matter your hair color, but I love your hair blonde. :)
Brunette and long is my favorite! I go today for color. I have never done it before and I'm scared! Which brings me to a good point....if brunette and long is my favorite, why am I going today?
Hmmmmmm?
I like both colors, too. I am always one for simpler, though, so I guess I would say brunette. Then again, it is also nice to get a few moments of peace and quiet while someone else washes your hair and pampers you a bit. So, I guess I am neutral. No...scrath that...how about baby blue in honor of your sweet little boy!
You are always so stylish and beautiful, no matter how it is...BUT here is what I propose...while it's short, do the brown. If you like it, grow it long and keep it brown. You can always add highlights later, if you get tired of it.
You are one of the few people who can do both hair colors. I don't know which one I like better. I think blond, but both look good on you!
I like both colors on you. You always have such great hairstyles I don't really think you could go wrong. I couldn't go blond myself but I like to put warmer brown tones in my hair for fall/winter and then get blond highlights for spring/summer. Of course, I feel your pain...I'm constantly getting a different cut(just not as drastic) and I haven't done anything since before I got pregnant. So I've been thinking about my hair a lot too between changing dirty diapers and feedings. I do like your pic of the long blond hair. Maybe you should work towards that style in brown.
They both look beautiful on you. I prefer blonde however it would be so much easier to do brown. I let my highlights go after Aubrey was born, mostly because I was now staying home and I was supposed to be making sacrifices so that was one thing to go. I think whatever decision you make you will look absolutely gorgeous!
I think burnette! I go for easier too!
I just love the blonde so much!
